Welcome from our President

Thank you for taking the time to become more acquainted with the Junior League of the Flint Hills. JLFH is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI), an all-female organization committed to promoting leadership within women and voluntarism in the community. Junior League of the Flint Hills has been an active organization in the region for over 25 years and during that time has provided countless hours of service in Geary, Riley, and Pottawatomie County, as well as effectively trained women to become better leaders in their communities.

Over the years, Junior League of the Flint Hills has been associated with a multitude of fabulous projects. Currently, our areas of focus are Community Outreach, Literacy, and Done-in-a-Day opportunities. One program that we sponsor is a highly successful holiday gift adoption program, Adopt-a-Family. Due to the generosity of fine businesses and individuals in the area, these donors are paired with adopted families for the holidays to ensure that families in our communities are able to experience and enjoy the wonder of the season.

Through our Literacy Programs, such as Community Bookshelves and Library Card Day at the Manhattan Public Library, we are able to reach children and youth, while sharing with them the love of reading and the power of literacy.

Whether you are considering joining our organization, are a potential donor, or are looking for a volunteer organization for a specific project, we invite you to contact us to learn more about our history, our mission, and our goals for the future.

Be the Future…Be the Change...Be the League!
