The Junior League of the Flint Hills is an organization of women of various age, race, religion, and national origin who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism. We continually seek and promote prospective members who are either active members of their communities or wish to better those around them through service.

Step 1: BECOME FAMILIAR WITH JLFH

Joining Junior League of the Flint Hills (JLFH) as a New Member begins with becoming familiar with the League. Go online and research the Junior Leagues across the globe. Visit AJLI.org to see how far our reach spreads and familiarize yourself with our organization. Membership in the Junior League is open to all women who are at least 23 years of age and who possess an interest in voluntarism, a commitment to community service and an interest in developing their potential as a community volunteer. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations and communities. STEP 3: COMPLETE PROVISIONAL TRAINING

A one-time, non-refundable $50 course fee is required upon acceptance into the Provisional class. This provisional training will make you aware of the commitments of the Junior League of the Flint Hills, both financial and time requirements, and give you a broader understanding of the mission of the league.

STEP 4: COMPLETE A NEW MEMBER PROJECT

You will also complete a New Member project in order to give service to the community and get to know the women in your Provisional class better. Work together with your peers to create and implement a community initiative that speaks to you.
